Polish Wind Energy Association once again is creating the Polish zone during an international exhibition, Wind Europe Annual Event in Copenhagen, to be held on 25–27 April. PWEA zone will host the largest players of Polish energy transition market. The leading theme of this year’s stand will be the development of a stable supply chain and cooperation with international wind energy partners.
Increasing electricity prices and increasingly urgent need to protect the climate and reduce greenhouse gas emissions have caused rapid development of renewable energy sources, including wind energy, to become a global economic priority. Due to decreasing installation and RES investment costs green energy has become a true alternative for traditional, fossil-based sources.
Wind Europe in Copenhagen is one of the leading wind energy events, gathering representatives of countries, investors, and suppliers from all around Europe. The event cannot miss a Polish accent in a zone organised by the Polish Wind Energy Association.
The Polish PWEA Pavilion opens unlimited B2B opportunities for its partners. At the promotional stand Polish entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to meet key Norwegian and Danish industry stakeholders.

In accordance with the new Energy Policy of Poland until 2040, RES capacity is to increase fourfold by 2040, securing more than 50% share in electricity production in Poland. The announced offshore wind capacity is to reach 5.9 GW in 2030 and 18 GW in 2040. For onshore, the figures are to be 14 GW and 20 GW in 2030 and 2040, respectively.
The three-day WindEurope will also host a Polish-Danish-Norwegian seminar co-organised by Polish Investment and Trade Agency and Polish Wind Energy Association, whose aim is to consolidate Polish-Danish and Polish-Norwegian cooperation in the offshore wind sector. Networking and expert debate dedicated to the development of an offshore supply chain will be opened by Minister for Climate, Anna Moskwa. Panelists and participants of the side event will include representatives of the largest Polish, Danish and Norwegian offshore wind companies.
