These workshops are a series of specialist meetings organized by PWEA in order to better prepare investors for the functioning in the new system of support based on auctions.

The event will take place on 10 December 2015 in Warsaw, Mercure Warszawa Grand Hotel.

The workshop will focus on the following areas:

• Realizing the medium and short-term forecasts in energy production. Performing basic strategy for energy trade.

• Balancing and cooperation between the RES generator and the Obligated Vendor after 1 January 2016.

• The cost of balancing in light of the new RES Act, as indispensable for the proper valuation of LCOE project.

• “The cost profile” in light of the new RES Act.

• Presentation of forecasts of changes in the costs mentioned above caused by the changes of increasing penetration of wind power in National Grid.

• Trying to beat the RES bill benchmark- available tools and methods.

To conduct a workshop PWEA invited representatives of the following companies: DNV, GL, Vattenfall, CEZ, Vortex Energy, Tundra Advisory, ROMO Wind.
