On 15 June every year we celebrate the Global Wind Day – a worldwide campaign promoting wind as a clean and renewable energy source. The purpose of the event, coordinated by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA), is to increase the awareness of decision-makers and the society regarding the potential of wind energy, the inexhaustibility of wind resources and the positive effects of large-scale use of energy from renewable sources.
