The draft amendment of the RES Act was sent to the Polish Parliament yesterday (10 July), meaning that it should be discussed and adopted during the 17-19 July session of the Sejm, the last session before holidays.

The authors are interested in the quick adoption of the draft in order to be able to organize RES auctions planned for 2019. The auctions are expected to provide support for 2.5 GW of onshore wind capacity.

The changes in legal regulations and their consequences for the market will be discussed by top experts during the seminar organized on 23 July by the Polish Wind Energy Association.
