RE-Source Poland Hub to inaugurate its activities in the international market. The international launch of the Hub will take place in Amsterdam during the RE-Source Event on 2-3 October.

The RE-Source Poland Hub foundation was established by the Polish Wind Energy Association and the Polish Photovoltaics Association in close cooperation with the international RE-Source Platform. Its tasks will include activities aimed at promoting corporate PPAs in the Polish market. The initiative is supported by: Vestas, Nordex Group, Enefit, DWF Poland Jamka law firm and IKEA.

The Polish RE-Source club will strive to eliminate legislative restrictions, such as the lack of possibility to establish a direct connection between the seller and buyer of electricity, the rule of minimum distance between wind farms and housing, hampering the development of onshore wind, as well as lack of regulatory stability and transparency in the energy market.

The Hub will also organize regular B2B meetings for green energy generators and offtakers. The first such session under the auspices of RE-Source Poland took place during the PWEA Conference in Serock on 12 June 2019, gathering generators and offtakers of green energy from China, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland and Poland. Another meeting is planned for the coming quarter.

Due to the fact that many offtakers of green electricity generated in Poland are global corporations, RE-Source Poland Hub will inaugurate its activities in the international market during the RE-Source Event in Amsterdam on 2-3 October. (save the date!)

If you are interested in cooperation with the Hub, please contact Irena Gajewska of PWEA (i.gajewska@psew.pl, phone no. +48 695 286 998), who runs the project.
